The coffee shop of Mandarina Hotel was designed in order to represent and recreate a park that visually connects with the landscape of the coffee shop located on the ground level lobby in the building.

 

The interior is centred by a magnificent yet abstract representation of a mandarin tree, which combines all the other elements together in harmony. It also acts as the main focal point of the design and is carefully placed to be visible from the street to grab the attention of those that pass by.

 

The use of curves that creates a continuous flow, timber textures, stone and a variety of elements that

are inspired through nature brings out the ambience of a warm and earthy interior. The perfect representation of a park is successfully achieved through the use of architectural form and texture.

 

The exterior of the building was enhanced by the addition of a dramatic tree canopy to represent the earthy landscape which will seize the attention to welcome those that passes by.
