The concept of the project was to create a simple and welcoming atmosphere, able to welcome customers of the most varied profiles, inviting everyone to enjoy the versatile nature of what’s been offered.

The materiality of the design is made with an increased palette of colors and materials, cool but balanced by the presence of wood in the tactile furniture and the careful use of it on the facade. The dine-in/lounging spaces of the upper floor create an informal dynamic experience, offering three options to the user - low tables, dining tables, and co-working spaces. This creates an atmosphere familiar to the user, something like a large living room where everyone is welcome. Considering that the cafe is located in one of the most exclusive areas in Colombo, we designed a façade that had a retro look with great presence and identity and chose to expose the dynamic life of the interior to be revealed to the people passing by on the busy street, looking at the facade.
