The design intention was to provide a light-filled space with natural ventilation through a transparent form within the house. Terraces, visual frames, windows, and a central courtyard of double-height form the palette of perforation strategies that transgress the purity of the design geometry. The building form is modest and simple but different yet humble. The interior of the house is contemporary with clean details to last through time.

All the public uses of the house are located on the ground floor: the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, the breakfast room, and the playroom. They are organized around the central courtyard and open towards it, building a continuum between the defined spaces. 

 

The planning strategy releases substantial volumes of perceptual as well as tangible space that is normally not experienced if traditional architectural space planning norms were interpreted in the local context.
